Show Notes

Whoever said it was absolutely right: “A faith that hasn’t been tested is a faith that can’t be trusted.” And since your faith is the most important thing you possess this side of heaven, God will graciously arrange for it to be tested. What is a test of faith? It is any circumstance that causes you to doubt God’s sufficiency for your life — his character, his provision — while tempting you to trust in someone or something else to meet your desperate need. Using Genesis 22, the testing of Abraham’s faith in the call to sacrifice his only son Isaac, this message will explore the tools that you will need to navigate the tests of faith that come your way in life so that they produce a mountain moving life for you. At the end of the day, only a test of faith can move you from needing an explanation to standing on a conviction that God is trustworthy.
